Robyn Buis - Senior Interior Designer

Robyn is the senior Interior Designer and business owner of Robyn Buis Design, she has a diploma in Interior Design and over 20 years experience with both Residential & Commercial Design.
Robyn has been involved with the Design Department at Otago Poly-tech for over 10 years lecturing the Creative Studies/Interior Design course.
Working in tandem with her client, Robyn translates what they love and need into a design direction they can achieve. With her years of experience Robyn can come up with creative solutions and direct your project from conception to completion.
She has a passion for textiles, forever sourcing exotic fabrics and products to benefit her interior schemes
Kate Earl - Studio Assistant
Kate is the Studio Assistant at Robyn Buis Design. She is studying a Diploma of Interior Design and has completed a Certificate of Interior Decor in 2022. Kate has a love for all things design with a passion for photography, painting and sewing.

Our Philosophy & how we can help you

We specialise in creating bespoke design solutions that compliment you and your space. We provide a range of services from a single cushion to tie together a room, custom made drapes with beautiful detailing, right up to a full exterior and interior scheme with everything specified down to the last finishing details.
We don’t believe there is a secret formula for interiors and we don’t get hung up on trends- Your space should be unique and reflect what you love being surround by.

What you'll find in the studio

The studio is a working space, show room & retail destination. We try our best to keep the studio welcoming and comfortable.
We have a comprehensive library of samples ranging from drapery & upholstery fabric, wallpapers, tiles, flooring, fittings right up to custom furniture examples.
We have hand made cushions made from our personally sourced fabrics, custom upholstered furniture, rugs, art, mirrors and lighting.
